For my master's thesis, I had to choose a relevant theme, but few topics appealed to me. It wasn't until I saw the VPRO Tegenlicht documentary about China's economic power that I found a theme that immediately captivated me.
Due to the complexity, I opted for a literal translation into visual language. I added interactive elements to increase engagement, used quotes from experts to convince, and incorporated quizzes so the user could actively reflect.
The final product was an interactive experience that made the documentary's content accessible and engaging for the user. Creating the illustrations was the most enjoyable part of this project. This completed the project.
